Prediction of Slow-Moving Landslide Mobility Due to Rainfall Using a Two-Wedges Model

چکیده
In the present study, landslides cyclically reactivated by water-table oscillations due to rainfall are dealt with. The principal kind of motion that usually characterizes such is a slide with rather small velocity. As another feature, soil deformations substantially accumulated inside narrow shear zone situated below landslide body so latter approximately slides rigidly. Within this framework, new approach developed in paper predict mobility type rainfall. To end, two-wedges model used schematize moving mass. Some analytical solutions derived link rain recordings fluctuations and turn displacements. A well-documented frequently activated studied check forecasting capacity proposed method.
